After the widely acclaimed and unique first two releases, Fluyo is back with its third outing from the previously unknown Michka - as mysterious as it gets. In Jorge Escribano’s own words, “I stumbled upon Michka through his hidden website and was totally captivated by the treasure trove of unreleased music he had. Over the course of a year, we connected and built a relationship, which eventually led to the decision to release this EP.”
Among the different aliases that Michka had, one was Blade. He used this moniker to release Goa-Trance infused music together with his friend Bazilik. One of these tracks was the B2 named “Cocktail.” Originally produced at 90 BPM, while Jorge was once playing, he improvised and sped it up. The result was nothing short of amazing, bringing to life a completely different and unique track think Oriental Trance meets UK Bleeps with heavy sub-bass and sparse electronic melodies. Even the producer was blown away by the outcome!
In short, Fluyo continues bringing to life long-lost music from the vaults. As Jorge Escribano puts it, “My record label is like my little universe of stereo adventures that blend the past and present sound. It is where I release music that really touches me, songs that I find beautiful and want to share with the world. Each release is a journey, hoping that it resonates with listeners in the future. Some people might not get the mix of genres I release house, techno, electro or trance or either the different kinds of artists, (from the 90s or nowadays) but to me, it all makes sense. It is music that touches me deeply, that I love playing, and that evolves with me as an artist”
