UK-based imprint STATICA launches its first release titled “M2-9: Wings of a Butterfly”. Based on the planetary nebula that was discovered by Rudolph Minkowski in 1947, resembling the wings of a butterfly, the record brings two tracks to each side from diverse artists - UK seasoned producer Central Intelligence and Madrid-based producer Victor Reyes.
Highlighting the A1, Central Intelligence delivers a mysterious yet energetic track. From trippy melodies to 90’s UK rave stabs, the tune is a proper emotional roller coaster, full of adventurous and unexpectable shifts. A modern take on different genres beautifully executed. Following the motto of the label, “a contrast of sound that showcases everything that STATICA sets out to encompass – forces in equilibrium”
