This release comes from Gameboy, an alias of London's very own Ibrahim Alfa Jnr who has been producing musical gems stemming back through the decades. There is a rumour floating around, that this is the final release under the infamous alias Gameboy, a release which completes the trilogy that was started 15 years ago.
Gameboy opens the track by cleverly building tension with layers of filtered vigorous synths and pads. Continuously evolving melody keeps the listener intrigued and drawn in. It's at this moment you envision yourself taking on the final boss from the Gameboy console itself.
Just as the tension rises and the feeling of uneasiness increases, we are greeted with the deep subby kicks, an arrival you have craved without even realising it. The snap of the snare and automated hats complete the complex groove underneath the well-designed atmospherics.
Once the acid tones of the bassline drop you find yourself lost in Gameboy's world, the one he has created for you. Close your eyes if you dare and feel the story unfold!
