Sentaku’s 8th instalment comes from the mind of Louison, a well-known face of the Parisian scene. Whether behind the counter at the new record shop A-One Paris, an extension of the legendary A1 Records (NYC), digging for records, or immersed in the studio, his musical and life approach revolves around the concepts of balance and spontaneity, as we can see well with this release.
Ranging across diverse genres like Dub, Trance, or Downtempo, Louison closes this debut EP in style with the B2 track “Tension and Passion,” a very appropriate testimony to the rest of the record. With hints of Drum & Bass and Trance sounds in the background, the tune effectively and slowly builds energy and tension, taking the listener to unknown territories, just where you want to be.
A very solid and diverse debut release from the Frenchman, definitely one to watch out for!
