Small World, the until now intimate party collective hailing from London, takes a step further and expands its operations with the release of a very tasty Various Artists compilation.
As the label puts it, “a project showcasing the sounds of our friends from the dance floor, near and far…” the collection features new and diverse tracks from emerging yet already recognized talents in the Swinging City.
Our attention goes to PAWL’s track “New World”. Whether hinting at the label’s fresh beginning or not, the Frenchman displays his studio artillery with a banging and deep groover. Dark at times, introspective at others, the tune has the ingredients to hypnotise the listener in all the right moods.
The compilation also includes a free mega-mix when purchased in full! A rolling recording of all tracks featured on the VA mixed by Small World resident Alix.
A very promising debut for the collective, the rest of the compilation is full of heaters as well, so be sure to properly check it!
