Carpet & Snares is an essential hub for dance music culture in Portugal. Starting in Lisbon in 2014 as a physical record shop, it has since grown to include an online store an events series, a vinyl distribution with its own in-house family of labels, a publishing company, and a DJ/music studio. Through these activities Carpet & Snares plays a vital role in supporting and promoting Portuguese artists and labels, creating mutually beneficial links between these local talents and likeminded players overseas. It is this desire to grow the scene in Portugal that continues to drive Carpet & Snares forward into the future.
