Tell me about your musical roots

My love for music was always there from a very young age. When I went to the famous record store Wally’s Groove World, I really started to freak on vinyl records. My love for minimalistic music came with the label Perlon and going to the “Get Perlonized” parties. The first time I attended Waking Life in Portugal in 2018, it changed my perception of music and life and is still, to this day, my biggest musical inspiration.

What is your favourite place to dig and why?

I love Crevette Records shop in Brussels super nice shop and we became really good friends with the Brussels crew, a lot of crazy diggers/talent over there. Discogs is still where I find most of my crazy go-to things, and then I always check with Koenie from Wally’s Groove World. He is a musical library. Thank you, dear Koenie :)

What do you listen to when you want to chill?

I actually listen to music 24/7. I wake up with NTS Radio or Charlie Bones' DoYouWorld. In the morning, more dubby/reggae sunny stuff; during the day, more electronic music; and in the evening, I wind down with some mellow ambient downtempo. I love meditation music also to do some breathing exercises. And I can also enjoy silence, don’t worry. Haha.

Can you share with me your favourite podcast at the moment?

I gotta say, the ODVOD podcast my music companion Yela did it’s not just to support my closest friends, but I know what he went through to make that one. I saw how crazy one can get and how obsessed you can be to carefully place all the pieces of the puzzle together. I think he did a very impressive job a classy trip with so many flavors, and it’s also completely what I enjoy in music: those weird, trippy things that make your face go like, "Whuuut?!" Haha.
